Probability has three different definitions or frameworks viz. Classical framework, Frequentist framework and Bayesian framework.
Approaching the same problem with these definitions could yield different (and valid) answers. The classical framework only works when outcomes are equally likely. The Frequentist framework conducts an experiment to generate data and compute the probability. The Bayesian framework uses both a prior and data.
