AI-based full stack observability platform

We at Middleware, one of the fastest-growing AI observability platforms, seek a talented and experienced AI and ML founding engineer to join our team and help us build a world-class observability platform. In this role, you can design, develop, and deploy our AI and Machine learning mode for observability platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to define the AI roadmap and design AI-driven features and functionalities for the observability platform.
• Algorithm Development: Utilize your expertise in machine learning (ML) and deep learning techniques to develop algorithms and models for data analysis, anomaly detection, pattern recognition, and predictive analytics, tailored specifically to observability and monitoring requirements.
• Data Exploration and Preprocessing: Work closely with data engineers to understand the data ecosystem, analyze data sources, and develop robust data preprocessing pipelines, ensuring high-quality and properly formatted data for training and inference.
• Model Training and Evaluation: Train, validate, and fine-tune ML and deep learning models using large-scale datasets to achieve high accuracy, precision, and recall. Evaluate model performance, analyze results, and iterate on models to improve accuracy and efficiency continuously.
• Integration and Deployment: Collaborate with software engineers to integrate AI components into the observability platform’s architecture. Ensure seamless AI models, APIs, and services integration, maintaining scalability, reliability, and security.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize AI models, algorithms, and processes to improve inference speed, reduce latency, and enhance overall system performance. Leverage model quantization, pruning, and compression techniques to optimize memory and computational resources.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitor the performance and health of deployed AI models, analyze data drift, and address potential issues promptly. Work closely with the operations team to ensure the AI-powered observability platform’s high availability, scalability, and reliability.
• Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest AI, ML, and observability technologies advancements. Conduct research, explore new techniques, and propose innovative solutions to enhance the platform’s capabilities and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience designing and developing AI solutions, preferably within observability, monitoring, or related domains.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python C++ and experience with AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, and statistical modeling techniques.
• Experience with large-scale data processing, data exploration, and feature engineering.
  Familiarity with observability concepts, monitoring tools, and distributed systems is a plus.
  Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and technical concepts clearly and concisely.
