Have you ever wished for an alternative to Mailchimp, Hubspot or Customerio that was built with modern UI/UX? That’s what we’re building at Loops (YC W22). We’ve been hard at work on the product and our customers love what we’re building. We won ProductHunt’s product of the week from our public launch.

Our Team

We’re a small team (5 currently), focused on exceptional User Experience and a rock-solid, feature-rich product. We ship quickly and speak with new and existing users daily. Our emphasis is on negative churn, not growth at all costs. If you’re a fan of companies like Notion, Cron, Raycast or Linear then you’ll appreciate our product development and engineering process.

The Role

As our first dedicated front-end engineer, you’ll be instrumental in taking our rich text editor for crafting emails to the next level. This role will begin as an IC role but will evolve into a leadership role as the team grows. Our CTO believes in prioritizing learning and mentorship within the team.

Job Responsibilities

• Refine the architecture for our text editor (built in Lexical)
• Define mappings for editor features to MJML markup
• Adding fun and unique features to our email design experience
• Continue building out a frontend that provides a clean joyful experience for our users
• Help build the team out by participating in the hiring process

About You

• Familiarity with Next.js, TypeScript, & React
• Experience coding rich text editors
• Bonus: MJML experience, Lexical experience
