Digital is the natural future of fashion and it all started in video games. As gamers, we love skins (the in-game cosmetic items that let you create a unique avatar that looks the way you like). We started our journey with ARaura because we simply wanted to be able to wear these awesome enhancements too. ARaura enables you to buy and wear digital enhancements of magical and endless possibilities.
Vision
We envision a future where people can express themselves – their style, identities and what they think is cool – by attaching digital files from the internet to themselves as fashion. These files can include wearable items, effects, fonts, logos, scripts; anything you can turn into a look. Individuals will be able show different versions of themselves to their different social groups and manage who sees what version of their live look. Our vision is to bring the Internet to the streets with a thin and elegant layer of augmented reality.
Technology
The ARaura technology is an ecosystem of connected tools managing an augmented reality utility where AR can be purchased, worn, customized and shared. The fitting tool standardizes and simplifies the upload process for artists. The marketplace and viewer is where people can discover, buy, sell, curate and go live in AR outfits. The rules engine creates safe, private spaces and governs what renders and what is viewable based on each individual’s preferences.
