Within the last 4-6 months there was a blog post here from someone who traded in their Apple M1 or M2, bought an older Windows laptop and refurbished many of the parts themselves, ordering them off Alibaba. They even changed the screen.
I loved this post and was inspired by it but now I cannot find it even after searching for some time. Does anyone know or remember?
