Would you like to be an early part of a company with lots of growth potential? Arc seeks a talented Sr. Product Designer to lead Arc’s Design & Branding. You will be joining a lean team moving at breakneck speed to redefine the financial services industry. Arc is uniquely positioned in the alternative financing ecosystem, given its founding team with deep finance expertise (former private equity investors and bankers / consultants).  You will be instrumental in working with our Engineering and Product teams to incorporate your talented design skills into our state of the art software products.

📌Responsibilities

• Brand leader. You’ll be the main executor of our entire brand. You’ll drive the implementation and evolution of this brand through content, collateral, web and more
• Facilitator-through-design. You’ll make sure that our mission, vision and values shine through our designs. You’ll have to explain complex processes or products through simple, beautiful content – whether it is for marketing collateral, sales materials or internal training. You’ll be at the center of Product, Marketing and Sales – working directly with Arc  leadership teams – helping our brand reach thousands of founders around the planet
• Creator. You’ll put together deliverables to use across content, and bring them to life through color, texture and animation, in accordance to our brand guidelines
• Hire and Develop the Best. You will hire and develop amazing designers, and help shape our team culture; you will mentor designers in their practice, prioritization, strategy and career growth
• Team Leader: You will support and improve the work of your team with regular design reviews and collaboration sessions
• Planner. You will own your team’s priorities, planning and execution, connecting them to larger business and product priorities
• Collaborator. You will collaborate with other Team Leads, Product Managers, and Engineers on feedback and critique of product and processes

✅ Basic Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple product designers
• Your portfolio includes a proven track record shipping interaction design work for web applications
• Your management experience includes team goal planning and feature prioritization
• You give and receive feedback well, and support and improve the work of your colleagues
• You want to work in a rapidly changing, high-growth environment
• Experience with common design tools and methodologies (e.g. Figma, wireframing, workflow diagrams, prototyping, design documentation, etc)
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g. product managers, engineers, business analysts, etc.) 
• Strong communication skills and a team player with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup-like environment
• Have a broad skill set including: IA, interaction, visual design, user research, front-end development
• Have a working knowledge of HTML and CSS and can communicate design effectively to engineers
• Energized by solving difficult problems and creating intuitive, simple experiences
• Frequently share your opinions and challenge assumptions
• Adaptable and able to perform in ambiguous situations
• Work autonomously and as a valued member of the team
• Think strategically and execute tactically, often influencing the definition and direction of a product
• Always strive to improve your skill set and expand your knowledge
• Experienced in creating various design artifacts and understand how to use them effectively to communicate

🌟 Nice to Haves

• 5+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role 
• 1+ years leading large-scale product design initiatives
• Degree  in Design, HCI, related field, or equivalent professional experience
